Has anyone ever worked with DDE on a windows 2k professional system?
I have an interesting question... you can make me a hero if you get it... we have a custom made legacy application at our company which makes sends out faxes using a DDE call to the winfax client app stored on the local machine. We are using winfax 10 here and everything worked fine on the Windows NT systems. However, we are testing this custom app with Windows 2k... everything errs out at the DDE call. It is my understanding that Microsoft doesn't support DDE anymore... I sure couldn't find out much about it on their site. They seem to have a some stuff dealing with NETDDE. I know it isn't all too descriptive, but does anyone here know anything about it and win2k?
