Email ?

I want to swap my email from one pc to another ... I can find where the dbx files are on win me but don't know where to put them on win xp ?

I know Office outlook lets you export and import all of your emails and contacts. Depending on which email program you use it should let you do the same.

dunno too much about the dbx on XP but there should be some sort of application data sub-directory somewhere there. As far as the contacts, the easiest way i've found is to export them as .csv (comma separated values) and import-other-address book.

OK I am using MS explorer 6 and outlook 6 on both pc's .. I want to get rid of my email on the old pc so the wife can use it ..

I still don't know how

you should just be able to export the personal folders which would include everything and thendo what you need to do!

The import dbx file and dbx file recovery has prompted you a path of the Outlook Express files' storage. And now save the damaged dbx files in the safe folder, they can be useful.
