Sorry for bumping up old topics but I thought I might as well reply to some topics that never got a reply in case someone came looking for it again.

To be honest I dont really think they have a software program like this and I doubt anyone would ever make one due to the simple fact its cheaper to use the net to make that kind of connection. I have been looking for pc to phone programs but havent found any free ones as for pc to pc you can find them all the time but they always use a server of some kind.

I have never seen one that connects via phone lines with a normal phone number. I tried googling it but found nothing that would help you. Ill keep an eye out for a program like this and repost at a later date if I do find something that would work in such a way but I think phone call limitations would stop this... Then again all of the phone companies are switching the lines over to data lines so they can support it but its a matter of finding a software that would do something like this.
