Hey I found some web pages about the new Microsoft Office 2003 (Aka Office 11) Here is the offficial beta link where you can buy the program and other betas from microsoft

would like to find more about if it "Phones home" and how activation has been changed (wonder, krell where I got those from, lol) and has anybody used this, what do they think of it?

Ive been usisng it since it came out

I downloaded it then M$ sent me it

It needs activating as before and still tries to phone home

but the downloaded beta that I got was *pre-activated*

Imo its an improvement on xp mostly eye-candy wise (but I like eyecandy) but it does have a lot of new features but I read that they will be releasing another beta before the final b/c of all the feedbck.

If you use office at work like me and still need to do some work on your home box (I mainly use outlook and excel) I'd recommend it

whats your favourite p2p app. The one you would use to download all your stuff, I don't mean this ofcourse (cough) we would never do anything like that!

Older stuff (and if you have paitience) emule

latest stuff and stuff I cant wait for

real good for TV eps Bittorrent

and Ive been trying the new shareaza which combines the two

I trust you will find a lot of non-copyrighted material on these networks

Thanks I can't really use Bittorrent as I am only 56k user but I have got Shareaza Beta 1.9 so I will give that a whirl, thanks, I could not find the file I was looking for on KaZaA, why is it that Beta stuff from a top american computer company never seems to get shared on the Fasttrack Network? Must still be newbies mainly using KaZaA!

I can't remember the details but early reports that I saw about it told that it had more spyware than the previous version. Does anyone know anything regarding that?

Spyware!!! - surely not, wonder if it can be removed with Adaware or Spybot

You will certainly not get any links her, I would have thought. Not to a linked Beta. However, I have still not been able to locate "The File" on KaZaA or the other Networks Jackofall suggested.
