PC3000 RAM

While perusing buyAIB.com, looking at memory, I noticed they now have PC3000 RAM. up until a couple of weeks ago I thought it only went up to PC2100, now there's 2700 and 3000? So just how far does this go anyway? And is there any real NOTICEABLE difference between all of them?

jsut curious, ya know. And what the heck's with these prices too? Eesh!

ya know I do wonder if there's a noticeable difference tho....I dunno.

From what I've been hearing lately all our computers are going to be outdated by the end of this year. Dunno if it's true or not but I heard that MS is supposed to be releasing the first 64 OS near the end of this year. I suppose hardware will have to change to keep up as well.

I belive that this next year will see alot of new products and technologies in the computer industry. Will we have true 64-bit computing by the end of the year? Probably not, but it is comming. Intel already has a 64-bit server processor but I am assuming that you meant desktop computing.

AMD on the other hand will have a 64-bit desktop processor on the market by the end of the year .... and possibley Intel too. The difference.... AMD's will be backwards compatable with 32-bit OSs and programs whereas Intel's won't. Will that make a difference?

We shall see!!!
