which RAM to buy

ok i got a question for you

i am getting my new mobo soon but i need ram for it (obviously) which is the best to get

ddr 266 - pc 2100
sdram - pc 100
ddr 333 - pc 2700
sdram - pc 133
ddr 400 - pc 3200
sdram - pc 66
rdram - pb 800
simm

i am asuming that the higher the number the better and i know that ddr is doublr data rate but which to get ??

that depends on what the board will take, theres no point spending out on DDR 400 ram if the board tops out at DDR 266, also the type of slot the ram goes in is different dependent on the type, ddr wont go in pc100 slots for example.
