rastagard, I still can't get over them dreads ya got. How long did it take to orignally get em done?

Hmmmm, lessee now. How much should I reveal, dun want everybuddy goin out an growin dreads......

Well, I started em in '85, prolly took a coupla years for em all ta ketch, but once they ketch, they ain't comin out. The only thing I really did ta get em goin was quit brushin my hair (instead a teasin it out into a fro) and occasionally went ta bed wit wet hair. My hair is incredibally thick and curly, so the dreads are just flattened out curls. I do wash em every nite with baby shampoo (no more tears fer rasta) an thats all there is to em.

I usually wear em pulled back into a gigantic pony tail. The only way to keep em outta my face when working.......

Heres me right before I went ta dreads. ( its OK ta laugh)

It would take poor Rasta 15 years and 400 gallons of conditioner to get them out!LOL.

About 15 years ago a little 10 yearold girl came into my shop with butt length hair. It was so matted up it looked like rats had built nests in it. It took me about 6 hours to untangle it. What pissed me off was as soon as I was done her mother said oh just cut it all off. My god woman!!!! That poor kid had to sit there crying and that all could have been avoided if the stupid mother had just let me cut it off in the first place. Let's just say I charged the piss out of that woman!!! Muahahahahaha
