Angry HELP! just bought a compaq armanda M300 and want to upgrade

i just bought a compaq armanda m300 with a P3 and want to buy a 2.0 ghz( 2.0 ghz Intel Pentium Processor Dell Compaq Etc. SL6S7) processor to upgrade. it says pulled from a dell pc. will it be compatible with my new laptop?
also, will and external usb 2.0 work and be full speed when plugged in to the shitty 1.1 existing one? i cant seem to get my ipod to plug into these horrible 1.1 ports. thanks!~

greffov will become famous soon enough
well, as far as I am aware: it is not possible to replace the CPU of your laptop in a non-harmful way. Besides that, a CPU that's pulled from another machine is usually no good as it is damaged.

It is very possible to swap CPU's over in laptops, however if yours is a P3 at the moment, it won't fit the 2.0GHz CPU you have highlighted - it's a different socket (370, compared to 478)...
