I was wondering if there is a basic how to on photoshop, IE like how to use jpegs in the program?

Im just a raw newb trying to see how to import, say a jpeg of Rasta and put a donkeys head on his shoulders. I see how to use many things, but not jpegs. i just installed this, and honestly dont have a clue how it works. i plan on having a blast learning though.

PS recognizes alot of image formats. If you want to work with a jpeg, just go to file-open and search for the one you want. I'd recommend learning about the image layers feature first. It really comes in handy when you're "manipulating" an image

Also, learn the different selection tools (marquee, magic wand, lasso, etc. They'll let you take part of one image so it can be combined with another image.

If you get stuck on something, just give a holler. We'll get you straightened out

I'm a visual learner. Which tutorial offers the most/best visual aids? I'm from the school of 'ONLY when stuck w/o a shred of hope left before even considering unpacking the dreaded instruction manual'. hey, upside..get a lotta extra parts tht way! ;p
