I agree with you that Spy Sweeper does an excellent job of snagging spyware. However, there is a question with Webroot's own surplanted browser hijacker. Every time I boot up, I have to watch as the browser opens then is hijacked over to the Webroot Spy Sweeper Survey page. I wish I knew how to get rid of that thing!!

Is this a persistent cookie, or something else? Anyone have a clue how I can rid my system of this annoyance?

I too have this problem and have a serious problem with a company that professes to get rid of spyware and other baddies while foisting a hijacker on us with no apparent means of removal.
Anyone out there got a clue as to how to get rid of this hijacker ???
