Hi!

Is there a difference between SATA ATA and IDE and PATA Drives?

I just bought a replacement 2.5" harddisk for a laptop i invested recently.

that is the manual specfication for the laptop. However the drive does fit but it gets in the way of the laptop optical drive, but the laptop doesnt detect it.

Do you think this :
