need help moving d/ld files to other folders

i like winmx, but unlike edonkey, it puts incompletes and completes in one dir. further, unlike mirc, it doesn't move specific filetypes to different subfolders.

what i'm looking for is a lil app that'll run constantly (or periodically as a service or in the systray) that will watch for changes in my winmx dir. if it finds a file is complete (ie: the filename is changed to remove INCOMPLETE by winmx), then it will move it to a dir i specify based on filetype.

if filename does not include the substring 'incomplete' then
if filetype is Audio {mp3,mp2,wav,wmv} then move to dir X
elsif filetype is Video {avi, mpg, mpeg, divx,rm,asf} then move
to dir Y
else move to dir Z
end if
end if

any help finding something like this (or writing it for XP?) would be appreciated!

Hey phukraut, nows thats what I call being lazy! (j/k) *L*

What you are looking for can probably be done, or if nothing else, possibily a script file that can be run to moves the files to the appropriate folders.

Any of our programmers have any ideas??? ...... maybe I want to be lazy too.......
