Best Browser?
I'm curious as to what people think is the best browser for the internet.
I'm using Opera, and it's got only one fault: its download method is only good for files less than 2 meg, because it doesn't give a download status. ![]() Any browsers that are better?

Loaded Question
This question seems to spark a lot of controversy, even here in the pasture. Browsers are like cars and politics, eveyone has a different favorite for different reasons. IE is great, but many flaws and security holes. Opera rocks, but not all pages look right. Crazy Browser, Avant, myIE2 are great browsers based on IE, they can block popups which IE can not. Mozilla & Phoenix are also very good and popular.

tabbed browsers
Got to have a tabbed browser for sure. I would go for Phoenix if it's tabs were smaller and if new tabs would open when opening new sites from bookmarks. I use Crazy Browser simply because I can make more space for the web page screen.
Off-topic: Ha...I remembered last night a Spyamp user was pissed because I opened his/her server's main page and opened the download and playlist page on seperate tabs, leaving his/her's main page open (it refreshes over and over wasting serious bandwidth). The user tracked me and e-mailed me saying I just browsed for 20 minutes without downloading anything...and I was labeled a leecher! (Well, I did start downloading at the last minute, for the record). I had no idea I was causing harm to the bandwidth and was ignorant to this notion. The pages took minutes to load anyway...and I had no taste in 95% of the songs... so WTF!?! Who cares? I don't :p ... :screwu: Well, I was banned. This person now also hates Crazy Browser just because of me. At least I learned a lesson in file-sharing on an internet server.

They are using a program of some sort that logs IP's that go into the server (including mine). There are so many songs on it, that it's not even public anymore (right now it isn't)...it's like an FTP in a way...you need to make a private account to download. there are so many people that connect to it, that it needs guidelines, I'm sure.

no problem tiberiumGuy
That's why i gave the heads up. In previous versions of Opera, the transfers screen came up automatically when a download started, but that was taken out in opera 7 beta 1. beta 2 fixes this, the transfer screen comes up automatically again.
