Software to Monitor and manage currently running applications

Can anybody help me to get or develop (in MFC or VB or C#) a software that monitors all the applications and services curently running on a computer so that certain desired applications or services can be stopped using the software?

Do you mean like Process Explorer?

I will only show applications. To see services, go to Control Panel>Admin Tools>Services...

Do you want to develop one with some one here or do you just want one?

edit: It does show services too! I forgot :o

SiSoftSandra 2002 can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about your PC.

If you are talking about the processes that start up when the PC boots, then MS config will help there along with RegCleaner 3.1....

If you are talking about other processes that you might think that waste cpu time/ etc........ you can stop them by hitting:

cntrl+alt+del---------------->Task Manager--------> Processes
(This is for my Win2K, I don't know which OS you have)

If this doesn't answer your question, you can give us a few more details or you can visit the forums of our sister site:
