o.k.,so I've gone to the dark side & finally picked up XP (fell off the back of a truck

) so could sum of u old timers (XP luvers) let me in on afew secrets,kewl stuff etc......?? DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK 2 win95 !

Delete ur thread and subscribe to the one which is
already being built..we've already got a good list up,
no need for a new thread (rite hova lol)...HowToWinXP click

Check out TweakUI! Its a great little app that lets you turn off unneeded or unused stuff in XP. You can pick up at Microsofts download, its a part of the XP Power Toys.

Carefull w/ tweaks...I had major PC problems w/ the one
on the MS site...It f'ed up my PC bad

Here's my XP experience so far;

1st install ; Upgrade from Me-XP=bad news,files corrupt,no drivers & my ISP program refused to work.

2nd install ; Upgrade from 98 & things are looking better....oops installed wrong USB 2.0 drivers/NO worknig USB......:no no:
Message from ASUS " We have the proper drivers here,if you have installed the disk drivers that you recieved witd your mobo & your running XP you will have to reinstall XP".....

hummmmm,is it all worth it???? Lost scanner,fax machine & about 20% of programs not supported????
