"Longhorn" Alpha Preview

Very preliminary version of Longhorn, but very good review. Paul Thurrott's is one of the better Window's sites.

Check it out here.

Windows "Longhorn"
Once envisioned as a minor upgrade to Windows XP, Windows "Longhorn" took on all-new importance in early 2002 when Microsoft decided to reach for the brass ring and make the new Windows release an all-encompassing major upgrade with a new security architecture called Palladium, a 3D-enabled user interface, and brand-new, database-based file system, and many more exciting new features. Here's the first--and most comprehensive--Longhorn FAQ ever created, constantly updated to include the latest information about this release. Be sure to read my Windows XP FAQ and Windows XP Service Pack 1 FAQ for information about the current desktop Windows versions, and the Windows .NET Server FAQ for information about the next Windows Server products.

One of our cows is trying out Longhorn, but I really think its way too early yet. Its basically just a jazzed up XP.

Yea MP, I like to "try out" software too.....
