installing win2k service pack or not....

Hi, i just installed win2k and i like it a lot, but i wonder if it's good installing the service pack for win2k...I am using a erm... downloaded copy with a serialnumber from a site, i have heard that service pack 1 for XP deactivated certain serials :o So it might be the same for service pack for win2k, so should i install win2k service pack or not?

i would not,if you are using a hacked - I mean a D/L version.
