i hate my video card

I absolutely dispise my video card.I have a Voodoo5, and at the time that I bought it I hadn't heard that 3dfx was going under.Unfortunately they did.Now I am stuck with a video card that has absolutely no support whatsoever.I tried playing JediKnight 2 only to find out that they didn't support 3dfx cards so I can't run the game on my comp.I tried playing Neverwinter Nights.Only to find out that it runs like s*** on 3dfx cards. **Sigh**...I grew tired of counter-strike since I had played it from it's first beta to the retail release, and Diablo II can only go on so long.Now I am reduced to downloading songs, movies, etc., and surfing the net in search of the answer to which p2p client is the best one for me.Oh well, I guess I'll go get another beer and drink my problems away.

yeah...if only I wasn't a cheap bastard, I would probably have a GeForce.

hey still using GeForce 2 here! with NP. sometimes have to update
the drivers for a game, but no big deal. so look out for one real cheap

I plain to get a Vido cards with TV Out so I can show my Divx on the TV. Suck no AGP slot. That is life..

Im bored out my mind and have no fun game to play because my 8 MB Intel 830mg cant play any game well. I have resorted customizing Xp and will soon learn to create my own webpage. Atleast you can play fun games. I played diablo 2 and pretty much every game that isnt 3d, like fallout, command and conquer and starcraft. Im in the process of finding a game, got bored of NFS3. BUT, there is always something to do. Thats what makes the internet so cool...

Yeah you're right.When I am gaming, I don't do anything else but play games.That's how it was with counter-strike.I used to play that game for atleast 7 hours a day straight or more.I just haven't found another game like that yet.I am waiting for that new Star Wars Role Playing game to come out next year.However, I will probably have to get a new video card to play it.

Are you talking about Star Wars Galaxy? Im sure its going to be successful simply because its a star wars game. I just hope Sony and LucasArts doesnt screw up this game though...I only played one MMORPG game and that was UO. I must have spent several hundred hours on that game over 3 years...I dont play much anymore, heck I dont have it installed on this computer. MMORPG games are FUN, but they cost money to play monthly.

Just a question, am I the only one here who has played MMORPG games???

I didn't realize it was going to be one of those games you have to pay to play online.I refuse to play those games.You pay for the game.Then you pay for your internet service, and on top of that companies want to charge people to pay to play their game online.

I myself being a PROUD owner of a Voodoo 3 card (not in use anymore,I did upgrade) did find afew sites that may be of some help to you.

you should be able to get jedi knight working with that card my friend has it and plays it all the time it run smoothly
