Looking for a Quality Laptop
hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a PC laptop as i already have a mac for my desk and i want a laptop thats relativley close to 2000$ that can work for my needs. I figured since you guys work with PC's more than i do you could point me in the direction of a nice kickass laptop. I'm a grafix designer and i obviously am going to have dreamweaver PS and i want it to be able to handle 3D Studio Max as well with no major problems I'm looking for something thats sturdy and that can deal with some abuse. If you guys know anywhere or any type of laptop that can satisfy those major needs i'd be extremley grateful. |

Mouth!!!!!!
Long time no post Hope everything's ok bro As far as the laptop scene goes, I just did a quick search on them. From my initial findings (shopping for brand name models that is), it looks like the fastest amd notebook you can get is an Athlon 1.2 Ghz, although I could be wrong about that Personally, I wouldn't go with a no-name model when it comes to laptops. Mainly because I don't open them up too much My recommendation here would be for a Dell system. I'm basing it on their customer service reputation which has been excellent in my case. Pretty much everything we have at work is a Dell. 2k is a pretty nice amount to spend here so you should have a great selection to choose from. A quick search on the Dell site turned up a nice Inspiron 8200 1.6 P4 pre-loaded with an XP operating system for around $1699.00 Here's a link to it --->Clickety Click<--- This place is pro AMD around here so I may catch some heat on this one ![]() ~Peace

Hey I never said I hated Intel, I like AMD better but that is my choice. Anyway I agree with DC on this one, either Dell or Compaq. Both company's notebooks are of great quality and they both have good service and Dell has even better service.
