Python Language

Ok if you want to program for free and do it easily, Check out www.python.org.
The programing language Python is VERY easy to learn and very powerful.
And best of all its FREE, and free is always good.
Python also requires no compiling.
But if you want to compile a windows exe then there are some programs that you can download to compile one.
Seriously though if you guys would give it a try i think you would like it.
Some books that i might recommend are "Sams Teach Yourself Python in 24 Hours" and "The Python Bible".
Have Fun!:computer:

Yes, I believe OGG Vorbis was programmed in Python. Also the Circle was programmed in Python. It is much faster than VB and a lot easier to program in than C#. It is very powerful.

Hey, i just started into python the other day because somebody mentioned it on a hacker site i was browsing around. I was learning c++, but i took a break from it to study python. It is quite easy, you can start programming with it after a few short tutorials. I recomend it to anyone who is just starting out as the first language to dive into.

Yes, flinger, you can start to learn python in just a few lessons if you take the time, and yes, that tut looks worthy. There are tons of great ones at www.python.org that i have been reading. I put off the c++ for a while to learn this, of course, im taking my sweet time. Programming isnt something i think you can learn in just a few hours. It takes years to get down good. Even a four year university cant teach you all you would need to know. Im just learning it a bit at a time.

I am not sure, i was actually trying to figure out stuff like that right now. I have been viewing python code to other programs and trying to figure out how it all works. If you go to www.google.com and type in "python code" alot of sites come up with copy and paste code to fun little programs that you can mess around with and change around all you want. I am a complete newb though. If you figure some cool stuff out, let me know flinger.

LOL, yeah, i think im dumb too, but i guess we could be dumb together and maybe even confuse the hell out of one another. Sounds good. It isnt until you are completely confused that you really start to learn anything anyways.
