Let me begin with a moment of silence for my deceased Cambridge Soundworks subwoofer.
... ... Ok, now that we know why I needed new speakers, let me tell you how awsome these suckers are... Basically I bought them because of a perfect 10 review in MaximumPc magazine and their low price. For $199 you get a pretty large subwoofer, 4 satalite speakers, and a control module. They pack 400watts of power total.... 188 into the sub and 53 watts into each satalite. They are so loud with virtually no audible distortion. While you may think that $199 is alot consider that the Klipsch speakers sound about the same and cost an extra $149. The control module has controls for power, m3d effects, bass (sub), fader (F-R), volume, and a headphone output. SWEET!!! If anyone needs new speakers, check the babies out!!! -JRW |
