It was worth it! There are so many features i use, but plugins seem to be what realy makes this version shine. Over the last couple of days I have been thinking of all the features I would love to see combined into one program . I would love to go right out and code them but while I understand some C++, i have very little experience with Visual C++ and ive got plenty of questions about the SDK. I was wondering if anyone wanted to join an informal developers group. Nothing big or complex, but maybe just a group of people who could consult eachother for development questions and maybe even team up to create some nice plugins? If your interested just IM me (its in my profile) Also, what do you all think of the following program ideas: Some sort of Download manager for trillian. Instead of file transfers appearing in those popup windows have them automaticaly added to the main trillian window in the style of all the other plugins, posibly with a progress bar. I dont know the plausability of this but i would also realy love to see the functionality extended so that my downloads from IE would appear in my trillian window so i could monitor their status. A web based trillian interface. I realy want to try to develop a basic server program which would create a web based interface for trillian. Nothing too imposible, just basic IMs and posibly file transfers. The reason for this is I love to leave my trillian on all day and i like having a log of my messages. When i go somewhere (classes, friends houses, etc) and i log in under my SN my trillian IM connection gets cut. Also, some friends do not have AIM and sometimes its imposible to install a copy of aim at the location i am at. This sort of plug in would allow trillin to receive my messages, log them and then pass them to the web interface. If either of these sound like good ideas youd like to help me with or if you have any sugestions on them please IM me thread located at... http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/forum...threadid=22742 |
