post free programming tools here
Yes, you can program without spending a dime.Post your favorite free programming tools, compilers, libraries, debuggers etc. I'll start us out with Bloodshed's Dev-C++ 5.0 beta 5 The 10mb package includes Mingw and gcc, everything you need to create full-blown windows software. Requirments Windows 95 or higher. 32 MB of RAM. The executables compiled by Dev-C++ will need MSCVRT.DLL (comes with Windows 95 OSR 2 or higher) Distributed under GNU General Public Liscence |

hmmmz, kewl site, will remember it
not needed at this moment though cuz i already have (borland) "Delphi (and Kylix) are in our opinion by far the best tools for creating Windows (and Linux) applications. You can now download FREE versions of these wonderful programming tools! With Delphi (Kylix) you can without much effort create small yet powerful applications, which do not need to be installed, do not depend on Active X controls, or special dlls. This means that you delphi. seems i made a good choice: will have far fewer users complaining about installation problems than if you created your software using Java, Visual Basic or Visual C++. Besides, many quality Delphi freeware, shareware and open source components can be found on the Web. Delphi (Kylix) allows fast and high-level/abstract programming, like Java and Visual Basic, but you can also use it to code at a lower/more fundamental level, like you can do with Visual C++. Delphi is based on the Pascal programming language. Kylix allows both Pascal and C++ programming." hehe |

Yeah sounds good Razor. I have yet to give Delphi a go, probably will soon. If memory serves me Bloodshed also had a Dev-Pascal IDE which could be used to create Delphi software. Has anyone tried it?
I also found it interesting that Dev-C++ was built using Delphi. |

Hey everyone im new to UTC if you couldn't tell already. but commenting about Borland C++ builder i think it blows VC++ out of the water as far as programming windows applications. Simple as VB too when it comes to making interfaces. You can get a free trial version at Borland.com (if you register oc..)

I was wondering if anyone would happen to know where I could find the power basic console compiler.
If so please drop me a line at alandeanavery@yahoo.com
