linux games
Hey, has anybody checked all the games they have out for linux?
I was really surprised. I checked on tucows.com and there's a bunch of older games that have been encoded for linux. It's prety cool. I downloaded the original Doom! I'll let you know how it is once I install it and everything.

Yeah, I love it. It's such an awesome operating system. It's so much more extensive and customizable than Windows. I did end up switching to Red Hat tho, because I was able to find better do***entation for it, than mandrake.
The only problem I'm having right now is that I can't seem to get my internet working in linux. The 'net configuration tool only has opations for dial-up and DSL, neither of which help me much. But it's cool. All a learning process.

Also, you might want to check out Wine, which is a way of playing Windoze game on a Linux box. Not everything works, or works properly, but it can be a nice way to keep playing some of your favorite games.
