A Fully 3d Game In Under 96kb!!

I thought this was a joke or a cunningly disguised virus untill i got to work and downloaded it onto our special diagnostics machine to take a peek at the code for anything malicious..

these guys have managed to compress a game similar to quake into less than 96kb! they promise more levels etc soon so keep cheking back! its just plain AMAZING!

Pretty amazing...plays like crap on my highend machine-- very jerky...have to try it on a low end machine.

But it is a very interesting proof of concept in extreme coding--- beats the hell out of some of these big companies that release games on multiple CDs. These guys are putting everyone to shame.

well. UT2k4 is 4 gigs on disk, with 6 cds or one dvd. although it is 96k, in memory it is roughly 250,000kb. i have 512 ddr pc2700 ram with 256mem on graphics board. it run quiet jerky and i had sound problems, but the was an irq thing. it will be really cool once the finish, but they shouldn't over do it. maybe when they undo alittle coppression lol.
