Rainbow Six 3: RavenShield

Anyone here into this game? I just got it and have been playing Multiplayer Co-Op with a couple others who have it.. and playing co-op on this game is amazingly fun.

Its very covert operations type of gameplay.. and you dont want people to see you because you die in 1-2 hits. You get to do building clearing in teams.. and its a blast.

Just trying to find a few others to come join us sometime

Yeah when you mentioned those things it reminded me of the good 'ol days when i was playing Rogue Spear. I might give Raven Shield a try if better.

Definately worth it.. especially since its only 20 bucks. I think also that you get a free copy of it when you purchase an Audigy 2 sound card right now too.

Either way.. if you want to have some weekend Multiplay fun.. you are always welcome to come play with us mate

What vid card do you have? Because Ravenshield doesnt need anything big.. COD needs a mid-range.. not sure on UT2004.. dindt like that game myself

I gots a Radeon 9000. I tried demos for CoD and Ut2004, ran very well. And since I found out raven was unreal engine based I dont have to worry. Its some of the bleeding edge games that do.

I will see if I can't pick it up this weekend, I used to love playing rainbow six and roque spear, especially with the modded and hacked guns, opposing online players didn't stand a chance.............LOL

We play this in LAN parties...especially the 'last man standing' mode is rather enjoyable when you have dozen or more players...

whats rogue spear like for gameplay... i tried out one of the older rainbow series games and i thought it was rubbish.. dont remember which one though. I love the whole idea of militaristic gameplay but im just worried this will be too much like the old rainbow...

Is this anything like Ghost Recon.. which in my opinion is the best military shooter EVER... have played and completed it over 7 times.

You will be pleasently surprised at how well done this game is. I even convinced a QA guy I know from Nova Logic to pick up this game recently.. and he thinks its awesome too. The real jewel of the ravenshield game is the co-op teamplay. We played this all weekend more or less.. even with 2 of us.. its a blast. All the AI is very well done and the guys never spawn in the same places on the maps.. so no matter what you have to clear every corner properly or you will get shot.. and you die fast so you have to be really quiet and sneak around.

Again though.. if you want to enjoy this game the co-op teamplay with buddies is your best bet. The expansion just came out for it.. but I havent gotten that yet. Still waiting to hear from Uncivil on what its like.. since he just bought it

Ya we do have a blast dont we Cirga....Ubi recently released an expansion for the game. Athena Sword. I got it yesterday but was too busy playing with Cirga and friends to even try it. The Expanion is 30 bucks or you can buy the Gold edition that has Ravenshield and Athena Sword in it for 39 bux. They made some new mission types with Athena Sword I am looking forward to trying it tonight unless someone talkes me into playing Ravenshield with them.
