Just for controll freaks
With Christmas just past, and so many game freaks testing out new game pads only to be saddened by poor durability, I found this article to be very interesting.

Hunter that was interesting thanks for the article. I really liked the Nostromo SpeedPad N52. I think I am going to try that one out. That looks very helpful for all kinds of games. I have seen this a long time ago just never knew it was out on shelves.

Ok I have bought the Nostromo SpeedPad N52. It is nice on first person shooters. But this does not work real well with FFXI that I am mainly playing right now. Does not seem to work well with many MMORPG's. I think it would be great on games like StarCraft and other stradgy games. I just have not had time to get these back on my Pc and test it out.
About the controler: it is comfortable. you can remap the entire controler that is very nice. That button on the bottom of the controler is not the easiest thing to hit, just a bit unatural. The mouse button on it is ok I am just use to using a diffrent finger to work my mouse wheel. other than that it is a good buy. I will use it alot in my first person adventures and strategy games that I play in the future. |

I have had this Controller for about a month now, and I can ASSURE YOU that this works like a charm.
Once you get it set up on your system and take the time to learn how to program the keys you will never be caught without it. Basically you can assign ANY Key, or set of keystrokes to the keys/pad/buttons on the N52. Just have to figure out what works best for you. It is supposed to work on any game (and/or any application). You can even download some presets for mirc, microsoft word, Photoshop, etc. The ONLY problem I had was initially getting the plugandplay drivers installed...(They did not install automatically on my rig), and that was solved easily enough...once you know how to foce the 4 drivers to install.
