Help! Call of Duty!

Call of Duty!

Every time i get hit hard or die or the screen shakes i get error "Visual C++ Runtime Error" and the game quits. Ive searched this and found that it was likely to be a faulty cd, so i installed the game on another system...worked fine. Figured it must be somethin on mine so i closed everything on my sytem (and i mean everything) and ran the game agen, same prob. Even running in safe mode nothing works! Its really begining to annoy me and im at a bit where it will not get past without goin thru a "shakey screen".

Any help appreciated

Oh be careful with the driver version 52.16 from Nvidia. It was causign all kinds of textures to disappear in a few of my games randomly when big explosions happened and/or high particle density.

I am using the v45 drivers for now.. just FYI.

Yup yup.. I didnt notice a problem when playing Call of Duty. But specifically when playing Battlefield 1942 it made my textures completely disappear.. looked like I was driving my tank 100 feet above water etc. Really a pain ..
