Busted

I recently got busted by my mom cuz she gets so mad when i play my FPS games such as counter-strike (says they're corrupting me lol). Now that I can't play counter-strike anymore i have a huge void in my life as it previously consumed hours of my day. I'm looking for a game that:
1) Doesn't require an awesom computer (mine is 550 mhz w/ 16mb card)
2) Will not get boring any time in the near future
3) Preferably but not necessarily online and has tons of people playing it
4) Doesn't have a monthly fee

I really appreciate your suggestions - thank you so much

*Edit* Oh ya, and I require something more exciting than those retarded games where you just type stuff. I need at leaste SOME graphics please lol (sorry if i offend anyone who plays those).

if you are looking for combat its not the game for you, but its good for those looking for something creative to do. best of all you get a free 24 play hour period. try the game for 24 play hours... spread it out in a couple dyas, use it in a week... it does cost 12 a month, but a lot of people like it... like i siad, it isnt combat oriented though.

Continuum (otherwise known as Subspace) is a top down view space combat shooter (2D) with about 100 people in each arena (on the more popular servers) I would highly reccommend it...

one of these should still be active...

counter Strike.. I remember my brother playing that. My mother also got mad at him.. but then she lightened up.

After that she would come down and ask him... "So how many people have you killed today?"

My brother: "Oh about 30"
My mother: "I am so proud of you!"

lol it was hilarious hearing her say that...

LOL from my experience (seeing other ppl playing it) CS makes very "jumpy" persons... And it becomes sorta of the subject of 60% of convertations (of those ppl that stay up until 4 AM playing it)

Man I was stuck playing counter strike for a long time. I would have fun killing the ppl that were known to be hacking. Speaking of counter strike I saw a segmant on tech tv the other day that said playing games like "counter strike" improves your sight, and are able to do more things at once better than someone who does not play these types of games. Just alittle food for thought.

People, I mean no offence - I spend at least 10 hours a day in front of my computer - but lets not deceive ourselves that this is somehow healthy. The article was about reflexes and coordination, I believe (primarily applied to shooting other people), not eyesight. And, I guarantee that some basketball (or whatever) in the park is better for your coordination than hours of CS and with less eyestrain from hours of staring at a monitor.
I mean no flame, but misquoting an article in an effort to convince people that hours of eye abuse is somehow good...

No offence taken. I am noone's mother for sure. You need to control your own time what ever you do. I sit in front of a pc about the same amount of time that you do. That is what I like to do. to each his own to what ever you like to do. If I misquoted I did not mean to that is what I got out of the article. By all means if you live in your parents house do what they say. If you live on your own do what you think is good for you. I just thought that was an interesting article.

Definitely an interesting article. It was actually me mothering...I'm just worried about ya'lls eyes...

It's like I can still hear my mom's voice about watchin' too much TV, especially in the dark...

Well I have never had the problem. My parents would tell me that I should spend more time outside but never really did anything about it.

If you are looking for a some-what good game may I suggest Red Alert 2. I seem to like it. You can play over the internet for FREE!!! But you have to buy it, you cant download it because you have to have a valid Serial code that works with the disc. I don't know what the game costs now but I really like it.
