Government study: VoIP, video can be taxed

State and local governments may be able to tax certain aspects of Internet use under an existing federal law designed to ban such fees, government auditors said this week.

Honestly I think its bs that the goverment thinks they have the right to tax or do anything they wish just because they are at the top. >.> Then again what do I know Im just one person. Very nice article. I havent used voip yet mostly because I would need to switch isp's and phone services just to make the calls. I really see no need to do so when I get what I have for so cheap. The fact its video means nothing. I can just use a webcam and mic if I really felt it was needed.
