Sun Going After x86 Computing Market
Though late to the x86 game, Sun is attempting to make up for lost time with the introduction of new Opteron-based servers and workstations that offer extra features at competitive prices. The machines can run existing 32-bit applications inside 64-bit Solaris, Linux and next-generation Windows operating systems.
