Microsoft has been mailing free copies of its pricey Office productivity software to government employees, but CNET News.com has learned that at least two federal agencies are warning recipients to return the gifts or risk violating federal ethics policies.

HAHAHAHAHA, this made me a bit worrying, but I just read this wrong.

I read it like the army told gates to stop the 'free software' foundation (a.k.a. open source), but this is entirely different...
(Dirty cows anyway to play like that, why don't they give they all of their software to anyone for free, then noone cares about their monopoly anymore... at least I wouldn't, because you were free to use it...)
