    copyright

this is the ****'s view on copyright although they are right does anyone listen ??

The Internet offers music lovers virtually limitless possibilities. Digital technology brings music to a wider public, affords niche artists access to their audiences, makes our vast musical heritage widely available, and distributes old, new and unusual music at affordable prices. Unfortunately, the Internet also gives music pirates a new weapon.

I posted this in another thread, so I will just copy it again here.

"Yes indeed. I am sure abou wasn't aware of this, and I am also sure that he wasn't the only one either. But we need news posts to be written in your own words, or post just a snippet (3 or 4 sentences at most) from the original article, and prominently include a link back to the source. That way, we are perfectly legal. We are discussing ways for regular members to submit stories, and if they are appropriate, can be added to the front page news having the one who submitted it being given credit for the heads up. When we get that worked out, make sure anyone who wishes to submit a poential news post to do it one of the 2 ways I described above."
