My new PSU..... w00t!
It's ~HERE~ - a 410W Sirtec (they produce PSUs for Thermaltake and Chieftec afaik)with a 12cm Blue LED fan, Passive PFC, etc. The quietest thing put on this old machine I have. Now I only hear the fan on my videocard.... w00t!
I'll try to review it and post some pics of the PC as a whole soon!

tip: disable your screensaver at night and just turn off the power of your monitor. It made me have long long uninterrupted nights of sleep. Screensavers tend to freak out all 3D capabilities of your videocard, causing it to blow a bit harder to cool down. It really helped for me... (rendering the Matrix seemed to cause a lot of noise, lol)

I have no screensaver, no wallpaper and turn off the monitor at night (well if 2-3 hours a day is considered night). It's just the reason the old fan was f$%^ed and I bought a new cheap one. That is the main reason for it being noisy. This is the next upgrade considered - videocard.
