I guess I'll brag a bit.
CASE: ASPIRE X-SUPERALIEN Blue 500W PSU
MB: ASUS NFORCE2 A7N8X DELUXE Video Card: ATI All-In-Wonder RADEON 9800PRO 128M 8X CPU: AMD ATHLON XP 3000/333 BARTON MUSHKIN 1GB PC2700 DDRAM HD 120GB SEAGATE SATA 1 LiteOn 52x Max CD Rom 1 LG 16xDVD player/ 48x24x48 CD burner. Thats the basics. I have the USR 802.11g router and wireless LAN card. I was debating going with the 64 bit technology, but in the end I decided to wait for awhile so the could get some uniformity in the field. I did go with SATA HDD, but afterward I read here that the Seagate 120 GB IDE HDD was really equal to the Seagate 120 GB SATA HDD. The SATA technology will get better, though and I'm glad I got a mobo that would run both. You'll notice that I only went with 333mhz FSB on the CPU and RAM. I was going to go with 400mhz, but as I was already spending upwards of $1500, I decided I could live with it for now. I did make sure the mobo was 400mhz capable. |
