small rig suggestions

hi everyone,

Right now im thinking of building a new rig to be used as a wireless internet acces point for use downstairs...

I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions/tips on what i should build...

I want it to be as small and s cheap as possible.. The only things i currently have are a cd drive, a kyro 3 64mb graphics card and some old pc100 memory , 128ram i think.

ive looked into those mini boxes but they all seem to start off at about £300 which doesnt include processor/graphics etc so those are out of the question.

look forward to your replies
