while the trend nowadays is going towards the bigger, badder, bolder and brighter cases, i'm going the opposite way with a slim pc case. i had to shell out $160 for a new board, case and memory so that i could transfer my p4 1.7 and the rest of it's parts less the mobo and ram to the much smaller case... now i get questions like, is that a new vcr or dvd you got there?

I've been seeing this style more and more these days.
I would have to wonder about the air circulation in the case. They do look sleek and modern though, and I'm sure the circulation is adequate. Share some pics with us when you get a chance, and welcome to the Cattery, yushy!

thanks for the welcome rasta!!!
air circulation on these systems are quite poor, very tight inside hence, a processor that produces less heat is a must... only two fans inside, the cpu fan and the psu fan. interestingly enough, the box heats up very little. sometimes i keep it running for many days straight and temperature is steady... -- y Quote:

yes! the black box below the fax machine is my pc, it can stand vertically or horizontally, for now, i have it on horizontal position, it's got a mic/headphone and two usb connectors on front, quite handy...
