Rippers nutty cases

found some old pic's of some real nutty pc cases that me and freinds have owned so i thought i'd give everyone a look :-)


this thing was hammered together by me for my next door neighbour, who had just spent all his cash on a new motherboard bundle and found it wouldnt fit into his original case, it was in use for about 6 mths before he finaly got round to buying one .

A painted side panel from the 1st system i ever built , i was on a very tight budget at the time so it took me a few months to get all the bits together and i got sick of looking at a plane white box

the other side of the same case , messed the picture up a bit by cutting 3 fan holes in the side when i started running into heat problems , the panel has had some changes made since then (ill post an updated pic when i borrow a camera)

RippeRoo, wtf is that first conglomeration? I know I spelled that wrong but I really don't care ya'll know me well enough. I like the second one too, I think Kristina may like the third one but I wouldn't know why.


I think we are going to be seeing some sweet systems in this forum before too long. w00t!

the first mess is a kinetiz 7e motherboard with a 1.1 duron, 256mb ram, a 60 gig western digital a cdrw/dvd drive and a gf2 mx400, it was made from the casing of a 400watt light , the back panel and drive bays came from old desktop cases.

i used a disc cutter and rivit gun and put it together in a few hours

no , thats the one with the 'botanical artwork'
the mobo was my asus a7v (see sig) its a big sucker (edit: the 133 a7v, not the 266)
