Very interesting Lion, theflinger just told me that he was doing a private beta test of some ' drag and drop' software that does the skinning for you... Maybe I will wait till that comes out...

First you need to kow the file sizes/dimensions of the pics that you want to make.
ex/ topbar = 800x100 leftbar = 100x600 That means there are two images to make. Then you can use Paint or other graphics programs to make your GFX. I use Fireworks MX from Macromedia as my core application and then I use Adobe PhotoShop for all of it's nice plugins....... ( I don't do a lot of GFX stuff) Trial and error. Once you get the hang of what you can do, then you should read some tutorials on the program you use to obtain those professional looking GFX that you see everywhere. |

I found it easier to use as a n00b, so to speak........
Better? I really can't say.......Will I continue using it? I sure will because most of Fireworks features I can Use with Flash MX. All of the .png files that have layers for Fireworks can be used as layers in Flash MX also.......... |
