Welcome to a the beginning of Poetry In Motion

With words we communicate. With speech we try to express our needs, desires, hopes, dreams, emotions...
The human brain can experience myriad of emotions and thought. Words help us express these things. With words we can convey anything from how we love that special someone to something as simple as what kind of food we want to eat for lunch. Words can be both simple and complex. Here is a space where those of us, all of us who believe that words live and love to give them life and voice can share what we have created.

To begin, here is a poem I wrote:

"I am in Love"

I'm in love
I'm in lust
For the burring in your eyes
to uncover the disguise

I'm waiting for you
longing for you

Do you realize that my burning, my longing
lives behind the hollow of my eyes,
within me, my mind
feminine intentions fill my heart
with the desire
for the little things
between you and I

The wind sweeps my heart
carries it away onto feathery clouds
Where your silken bold lay
waiting for me

To surround you
in melon scented desire
My soul hungry
billowing fire
burring orange-red hue
Casting shadows that transform
our surroundings and flicker
against the aqua-marine backdrop
of my mind

I'm in love
I'm in lust
I am longing
filled with desire

I want to ignite your senses
to stir you to the core
with the softness that is I
To open the door to my world
for you to explore

My hands want to hold tightly to yours
fingers of their own design
playing piano-soft melodies
rhythms against your palms
My mind wants to forever lie
languidly against the soft illusion that is you

From deep within
I feel the desire rolling back
and forth, against my heart
I am in love
I am in love

me - May 11, 2002

~

...And once there was a Princess,
from a country far away from here.
She was the sun on a great mess,
and lots of people there did adhere.
She shone, enlightened so many days,
endeavours she made, to shed a light.
Bees they bumbled in space,
at least her efforts were right.

~

Once upon a time, far away from here,
there was a Princess that had no fear.
She jumped into the web,
got stuck into it to her neck,
but at least she got a career!

Freedom

I write because I am confused
and seek to understand.
I sing because I am alone
and reach to take a hand.
I wonder because I'm curious
and feel I should know why.
I hurt because I'm human
and this is why I cry.
I laugh because I'm joyful
and this seems right to do.
I love because you're special
and pray you love me too.
I live because of all these things
I find in everyday.
They tell me just what life's about
and I listen to what they say.
To laugh, to love, to live and sing,
yes; even to cry.
These simple gifts of freedom
I will treasure till I die.

Now leave me alone & don't say it's good...cause I don't care
