Help needed with meowbox design

OK people,

in a poll recently it came out that lots of people would like the meowbox to be on every page.

Now I have been thinking for a relatively long time, about where this thing should be placed. I've been thinking about floating boxes, corners, etc, but I just can't find the perfect spot where it doesn't harm people who don't like to meow a lot...

Any ideas on this topic?

maybe a way to enable/disable it in the user profiles, and use floating box, user selectable on top or bottom of page.

I'd like to see this as an option to turn off as well. I'd also like to see it remain static on the main page for those of us who wouldn't mind an occasional purr
