A typical Amsterdamish message that used to be found on the windows of trams and busses:
'Wilt u zitten? Ik kan staan!'

(Do you want to sit? I am able to stand)

Unfortunatly the message is not used anymore on newer vehicles (but almost anyone knows the sentance, and the way tourists try to pronounce it of course )

My room at the company I'm working on my masters these days. I use the rightmost machine under the desk, for it's a dual athlon machine with 1 gig ram in it, of course running Linux. The other machines are used for compiling all day long. The Rack server thing on the left has only 6TB on harddisks, using 4 64bits cpu's but still has to get a proper linux install. (You don't want to hear the noise those 12 disks make!!!!)

Last one, a little insight on what I'm looking all day to (when I'm not watching my screen :p)

The building I'm in is placed at the side of a very tiny little park, where all kinds of birds and other animals happily flute and do their work on recycling nature. A real nice view I think.
