help with PS ;)

do layer styles (i.e. emboss, drop shadow, and others) only apply to that layer? sometimes i get bevels showing up on other layers

scratch the other ? ttx firey

they should, although if the layer you've applied it too is somewhat transparent, it could look like the other layer has the effect too. you should click the lttle eye in the lasyers pallet too see, if you think thats happening, it hides the layer, click the box again too show it.

I could have sworn that was about PhotoShop, not PaintShop?
But yes, effects are only applied to the layer they are on, if you're talking about PhotoShop.
I only use PSP for resizing images in a hurry!

yes, it was photoshop, and NO, psp8 does NOT own anything, especially photoshop

PS 8 is in beta, btw... i can hardly wait!
