Thanks Geffers. I am aactually going to reformat one of my PC's this saturday and install Win2k Pro. I am getting sick of crashing computers.. I need more stability.. and I hope 2k does the trick.

Should work fine for you Cirga, but make sure you install at least Service Pack 2 for it, preferably SP3. I use 2k on my Windoze box because I got tired of 98 crashing on me too; 2k is definately much more stable.

ive only recently moved from win98 to win2k and i wish i had done it long back,i put xp on my nippers comp upstairs but i just dont like it myself,you will notice a fair bit of diffrence when you first change over but so far i can only say the diffrences are for the better

Ya.. I probably will get every update available as of Saturday.. then shut off the automatic update service (resource hog). Hopefully I dont hit any snags.. who knows.. I will probably blow something up. Weeee

Also, you might want to consider disabling Indexing Services, which is only really useful for servers but will just make you drive cache all the time otherwise.
