Exclamation Getting the blue screen

I have WIN 98.

I have been getting the blue screen a lot lately. I'll be on here reading the boards, chatting in IRC, checking my email or just playing music. Next thing I know I get the BLUE SCREEN.

So I wrote down what it saids and maybe someone here can help me out.

It saids
A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:C154EB4B in VXD MSTCP (01) + 00004FDB

:?

I came back to add that I noticed it was happening while I was using crazy browser.

i had always had 98se and refused to change from it and i always got the blue screen of death when i wsa going faster then my computer could. You know several programs open at once or doing more then one thing at a time. I recently had to do a clean re-install and i installed w200k pro and i haven't had a problem yet. I would recommend updating your OS. Thats what worked for me but maybe someone else has a better solution for you.

If your computer isnt very fast and you use 98 SE with a whole load of stuff goin at once chances are you will get the B.S.O.D.

I have worked on a hundred machines with that.
I have p2-350 so its not very fast and I have LOTS of trouble if I am "faster than my comp" like berksy said.

I suggest a clean reisntall a defag a scan, and deleting all the crap that you have (like bonsai buddy ROFL)

Thats what I did and now I only get the BSOD 100 times/week
