Hello again kimbrl27
This one's rather lenghty, but i'd pay particular attention to the last post on the page about using the msconfig utility. It may be as easy as that to get rid of your error

Are you familiar with msconfig? In a nutshell, it's a built in utility that lets you control what loads and does not load on system boot. I'd poke around in there in the advanced tab and look for this newdot entry. Just remember what you check or uncheck in case you need to put it back

Let us know if this solves it for you
How did you make out on your other problem :?

Hi Kmbrl27.
Do you know anything about that newDot program??

what is it ??
What does it do??

If it is a program you downloaded or if you have it on a Cd you can probably solve your missing .dll problem by Re-installing the program from scratch.
(if you want to get rid of the program then re-install it, then after a reboot go to your add/remove programs and try to remove the program from there.)

Any information you can give us about your computer and the newDot program (?) would help us figure out how to best help you.

I was curious. After seeing both your threads about missing ".dll" files.. my question is have you done any sort of big system configuration changes as of recently? It sounds like either a bunch of files were deleted by accident in some manner.. or your windows registry needs some major cleaning.

At any rate.. if you have done anything major recently would be nice to know.. just in case that is a factor in these problems you are having.

Any new Applications?
Any new Hardware which installed a software package?

etc?
