I thought they won the lawsuit too, I have even seen systems for sale with the lindows OS installed. I dunno whats up with them. Seemed like they had the right idea.

I think microsoft took them to court partially because of the name and a few other things. I can't remember exactly what it all was but I know the name was part of it.

Have to say.. I am still using 98 for my Gaming computer. I dont know why I am so afraid of upgrading to XP.. perhaps I will when I get a new motherboard/processor.

Mmm.. 2.7. I can hardly wait

I use windows xp of course, it doesen't seem to like me at the moment. I'm trying to back-stuff up and it keeps shooting itself.

No offense man, but ouch. I've had nothing but bad times with ME when i had it. XP is definitely much better imo. I run xp home btw.

I have WinMe on this machine. And it totally sux! Hangs up on boot up and down for that matter. Errors for everything I touch. Freezes at least 10 times a day. GRRRRRR can not wait to get a decent modem gor my XP machine. When its up and running smoothly this one is gonna be my Linux box. So I can learn Linux more thoroughly than with the remote access I have to it now.

ive a copy of 98se ME 2000 pro and xp pro
I use 2000 pro cause its a lot faster for surfing/gaming than xp ,
uses loads less hard drive space and doesnt use all your resources up with silly little features

P.S. I Love ME as well, the cd makes a great coaster
