I would have to say a Seagate hard drive. They seem to be very good SCSI Hard Drives. They also have the biggest hard drive in the world I believe.

I wonder why they don't upgrade the drives further before they come out with these new technology. ATA/100 hasn't even had a big impact on things. Responce times from ATA/100 to ATA/133 go down a little bit from some benchmarks I have seen, but the read/write times and the amount of data it can write at once has stayed pretty constant and the only drives that I have seen get a good amount of write/read are SCSI drives.... I still fail to understand, that SCSI is so much older but so much better. Still confuses the hell outta me. :?

It is definately strange that an older type of drive out performs today's technologies. I am very interested to see how the new serial drives perform when they come out. I think it will be very interesting to say the least.

God knows I couldn't afford one. They will prolly run for a ton. Then I will need totake away my "coolness" and only have 1 or 2 hard drives instead of 5 or 6. LOL :smilewink
