I need help with Explorer

I just did a fresh install of Win Xp and just did all the latest updates, so I am very current. I dont have the bottom bar of my explorer browser bar... you the one that shows the link that your cursor is currently over as well at the little lock for secure pages. How do I get this back?

Thanks,

-JRW

I hate the status bar, makes me feel like I can't see everything.

Well, I make a lot of purchases online and I like to see the little lock at the bottom saying that the line is somewhat secure. I also like to see where a link is taking me before I click on it... hate clicking on email addresses and having Outlook Express popping up.

You don't need to see the lock ... if the site starts https then its secure ... Personally I couldn't do without the bar... Like jrwap said I like to know what link i'm clicking and where its taking me.
