To overclock first make sure that you have adequate cooling ...

There are several ways to to overclock ....

You can up the FSB ... I don't know if you can do it with your motherboard though ?

If I remember right you can alter the multipliers on your K6-2 ...

Its been a while but it runs at 100mhz fsb which means the multiplier is 4x100 ... Try changing it to 4.5x100 ...

Again make sure the cpu is cooled ... Try to turn on the pc ... If it boots good ... if the multiplier is set too high then the pc won't POST ..

Good luck

In newer computers you can just do it in the bios ... On older ones its jumpers on the motherboard.

What motherboard do you have ? Do you have the manual that came with it ??
